From pages 51 to 58 Spencer Hastings is at field hockey practice. Her and the team are sprinting around the field for a warm up when she realizes her sister, Melissa, is there watching. Once they have ran the field she goes over to Melissa who is standing next to the CO-coach, Ian Thomas, she asks her why she is here. Melissa replies that she is just here to watch her younger sister practice and spend time with her new boy friend Ian. Spencer and Melissa get in another fight about who plays a better Center in the game. Ian then says that Spencer does and Melissa gets very mad.
