From pages 44 to 51 Aria is sitting on her boyfriend Sean's car. He is getting some sports gear he left inside. While she is reading one of her favorite plays here English teacher, Mr. Fitz, comes by to ask her about her essay on The Scarlet Letter. The Sean comes and tells her it's time to go. Aria asks Sean if he can drive her to HOLLIS a college right outside of Rosewood. She wants to go there and have a talk with Meredith the women her dad is cheating on her mother with. She goes into her art class and writes a big A on the right hand side of her shirt and leaves.
